Associate Director or Senior Surveyor – Chartered Valuations Surveyor

RICS Registered Valuer (Healthcare and OPRE Operational Real Estate)

My client is one of the leading global commercial real estate firms in the country, who provide expert support to occupiers, investors, and developers across office, industrial and logistics, retail, hotel, and healthcare sectors.

Services include strategic advice and execution for property sales and leasing, tenant representation, corporate real estate services, property and project management, appraisal and valuation, development consultancy, investment management, debt advisory, business rates and compulsory purchase support, as well as research and consulting.

A fantastic opportunity has presented for a chartered valuations surveyor at senior surveyor or associate director level to join their team providing valuation advice to key financial lenders and investment clients for the following: Healthcare (Nursing Homes, Primary Care Centres, Private Hospitals, Residential Care) and Operational Real Estate (PBSA, Self-Storage, Leisure, Pubs)

Responsibilities

  • Team member within the Healthcare and OPRE Valuation department, conducting valuations and supporting job directors

  • Assisting with the development and training of graduate valuers

  • Reporting to a valuation director, processing valuation work from engagement letters, inspecting properties, drafting valuation reports, researching comparable transactions and reporting to clients

  • Assisting with training of junior team members

  • Providing valuation advice to key financial lenders and investment clients for the following: Healthcare (Nursing Homes, Primary Care Centres, Private Hospitals, Residential Care) and Operational Real Estate (PBSA, Self-Storage, Leisure, Pubs)

  • Building successful relationships with clients, internal teams & external advisors

Requirements

  • Must be a chartered surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer

  • Ability to skilfully manage bank's/client’s expectations, with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational & time management skills

  • Proven track record of valuation work including using AE and Argus Developer applications and report writing

  • Driving license required

  • 1-3 years post APC experience

  • Excel knowledge and ability

  • An understanding of trading accounts

  • Be prepared to study the Nursing Home and Primary Care Market in Ireland

  • A team player

  • Good communicator and articulate

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task while prioritising workload

  • Social skills to deal with clients
