Finance Administrator – Dublin

My client, a leading project management construction consultancy established in 1998, is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their busy finance team in Dublin. With over 25 years of growth, they are known for delivering expert, hands-on support across all stages of the construction lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual with a keen interest in finance. You’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function, including processing invoices, data entry, managing accounts payable/receivable, and assisting with reporting and analysis.

Financial Operations & Record Keeping

  • Process and file incoming/outgoing invoices in line with company policies.

  • Enter financial data (expenses, payments, receipts) into the accounting system.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction records.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Support timely processing of payments to suppliers and vendors.

  • Assist with client invoicing and follow-ups on outstanding receivables.

  • Time & Expense Support

  • Process employee expense claims and ensure policy compliance.

  • Assist in Time & Expense queries.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

  • Financial Systems & Process Improvement

  • Help maintain and update financial software systems.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Communication & Administrative Support

  • Liaise with vendors and internal teams on finance-related matters.

  • Provide general admin support including meeting prep and document management.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a finance support or assistant role.

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, Beanworks or similar). Training provided.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Accounting Technician or Fetac Level 5 or above, or equivalent finance-related qualification.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems.
