The Opportunity

This role is designed for a commercially driven Sales Director who wants more than a title — someone seeking ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

As Sales Director, you will take full responsibility for the company’s commercial strategy, leading sales performance across manned guarding (manguard) services, integrated security solutions, and facilities management services (both hard & soft FM). You will manage and develop the sales team function while playing a key role in shaping the company’s long-term growth and market positioning.

Recent and strong demonstrable experience in the sale of manned guarding security services and facilities management (hard & soft FM) is ESSENTIAL.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the company’s overall sales and growth strategy in line with expansion objectives

  • Drive revenue growth across security (manned guarding) and facilities management service lines

  • Identify new market opportunities, sectors, and geographic expansion across Ireland

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Lead the identification, pursuit, and conversion of new business opportunities, including national contracts, frameworks, and strategic partnerships

  • Maintain a strong personal involvement in high-value bids and senior-level client engagements

  • Build long-term, high-value relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

Sales Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance standards, ensuring accountability and consistent delivery

  • Coach and mentor the team to strengthen capability in selling manned guarding and FM services

Tenders, Pricing & Commercial Control

  • Lead pricing strategy, tenders, bids, and contract negotiations

  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial performance reporting

  • Ensure contracts are commercially viable, competitive, and aligned with operational capability

Operational Collaboration

  • Work closely with operational and service delivery teams to ensure seamless mobilisation, service excellence, and client retention

  • Support contract profitability and long-term client satisfaction

Market Positioning & Industry Awareness

  • Strengthen the company’s market presence and reputation across the security and facilities management sectors

  • Maintain awareness of Irish security regulations and PSA requirements (knowledge advantageous)

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience selling manned guarding (manguard) services – essential

  • Strong background in selling security services and facilities management (hard & soft FM)

  • Minimum 5 years’ senior commercial or sales leadership experience within security or FM

  • Demonstrated success in winning tenders, securing national accounts, and driving business growth

  • Experience leading and managing a sales team

  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margin control, and contract negotiation

  • Knowledge of the Irish security market; PSA experience is an advantage

  • Ability to operate with autonomy, ownership, and strategic authority

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
