Remuneration 45k-55k DOE + Excellent Pension

The Role

As Building Manager, you will lead the seamless day-to-day operation of the property, ensuring a first-class experience for all occupants while driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of building operations, including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping, and all hard and soft services

  • Oversee mechanical & electrical systems, lifts, statutory compliance, and health & safety standards

  • Manage and coordinate all third-party contractors, ensuring service excellence and full compliance (permits, RAMS, KPIs)

  • Act as the primary escalation point for tenants and site users, delivering responsive, solutions-focused service

  • Lead and deliver ad hoc projects, driving improvements across the asset

  • Partner with the Central Facilities Management team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies

  • Produce accurate, timely monthly reports aligned with client expectations and deadlines

What You Bring

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in corporate building management within a professional environment

  • Strong financial acumen with experience supporting budgeting and cost control

  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Advanced Excel skills; CAFM experience is advantageous

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and service partners

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and proactively

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale PPM schedules

  • Hands-on experience overseeing both Hard and Soft Services

  • Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and statutory compliance, with a focus on QHSE standards

  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience supporting audits and consistently delivering best-in-class outcomes

  • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives

  • Skilled in contractor performance management, including KPI development and monitoring

  • Efficient and accurate reporting of incidents, emergencies, and compliance matters
