This firm is offering a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced property professional to step into the newly created role as Head of Residential Operations. This pivotal position places you at the forefront of the business, where you will lead, inspire, and mentor a talented team of property specialists. 

As the driving force behind this division, you’ll be entrusted with shaping and implementing innovative operational strategies across a diverse estate management portfolio. From residential leasing, PRS and cost rental property management to block management, you will bring fresh ideas, streamline processes, and set new standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide strategic leadership and support to a team of property specialists within the estate management division. 

  • Report directly to the COO, delivering clear performance updates and contributing to overall business strategy. 

  • Implement innovative operational strategies across a diverse estate /asset management portfolio. From residential leasing and PRS and cost rental property management to block management

  • Bring innovative ideas, streamline processes, and set new standards of excellence. 

  • Design, implement, and oversee best-practice processes to ensure excellence across all property / asset management operations and streamline procedures. 

  • Drive the integration of CSR and sustainability initiatives, aligning estate management with wider corporate goals. 

  • Oversee preparation, management, and presentation of annual budgets, service charge accounts, and AGMs. 

  • Lead tender processes, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and delivery of high-quality services. 

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the MUD Act and other regulatory frameworks to ensure operational compliance. 

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration and accountability. 

  • Streamline workflows, identify operational efficiencies, and implement innovative solutions across the portfolio. 

  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Current PSRA Licence. 

  • Degree-qualified with a minimum of 5+ years’ proven leadership experience in the property industry. 

  • Demonstrated track record in people management and team development. 

  • Proficiency with YARDI software. 

  • Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport. 

  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
