The Senior New Markets Associate will drive the identification, evaluation, and delivery of new business opportunities in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) and other strategic markets. This role will play a key part in expanding my client’s institutional partnerships, supporting the origination and execution of PRS transactions, and contributing to the growth of the strategic partnerships pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Origination
Identify and assess new PRS and institutional partnership opportunities, including forward-funding, joint ventures, and portfolio transactions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders—including investors, agents, local authorities, and institutional partners—to source and progress new deals.
Lead market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategy and support entry into new markets.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and investment papers for internal and external audiences.
Transaction Support & Execution
Support the end-to-end transaction process for PRS and partnership deals, including due diligence, financial modelling, and coordination with legal, finance, and technical teams.
Track and report on deal pipeline, progress, and market trends to senior leadership.
Assist in the negotiation of commercial terms and contracts, ensuring alignment with my client’s strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Represent my client at industry events, conferences, and meetings with prospective partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (investment, planning, technical, finance) to ensure seamless delivery of partnership projects.
Contribute to the development of new partnership models and routes to market, supporting innovation and growth.
The Candidate
4+ years’ experience in real estate, business development, investment, or a related field, with a strong track record in PRS or institutional partnerships.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to prepare and present business cases.
Commercially astute, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related discipline preferred.
