Head Valuer MRICS / MSCSI | Fully Remote Option | OR Galway| Limerick base

My client is a fast-growing property advisory firm with offices in Galway & Limerick, offering fully remote working and flexible arrangements for the right candidate.

Due to exceptional growth and a rapidly expanding commercial valuations portfolio spanning investments, pensions, banking, and both private and public sector clients, my client is now seeking an ambitious Head Valuer - Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS / MSCSI) and play a key leadership role in the next phase of expansion. Registered Valuer with 5–8 years’ post-qualification experience MRICS / MSCSI qualified

You’ll work on high-profile valuation assignments across Ireland, leading complex instructions while mentoring a small team — all within a culture that genuinely supports flexibility, autonomy, and work–life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Valuation & Advisory: Assist in or lead the production of high-quality Valuation Reports for residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and trade-related assets.

  • Professional Consultancy: Provide expert advice to clients on asset acquisitions, disposals, feasibility studies, and site appraisals.

  • Market Research & Reporting: Conduct market analysis and contribute to opinion/research.

  • Agency Support: Assist with sales and lettings instructions.

  • Client & Business Development: Support new business initiatives, liaise with high-profile clients, and maintain strong relationships.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Investment, Retail, Business Space, Residential and Commercial Property Management, Residential.

  • Special Projects: Contribute to intensive, high-value projects with short turnaround times. Comply with all the relevant provisions of the PSR Act.

  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • A collaborative professional who thrives in a growing team

  • Proven ability in negotiating.

  • Qualified Blue Book/Red Book Valuer desirable, not essential.

  • Experience in high end commercial property valuations, rent reviews and CPO Negotiations.

  • Current PSRA License essential.

  • SCSI / RICS / IPAV membership.

  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

  • Proficient in all MS Office programs.

  • Highly ambitious with the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Full driver’s licence and use of own car.
