Due to exceptional growth and a rapidly expanding commercial valuations portfolio across investment, pension, banking, and public and private sector clients, our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS/MSCSI) to join their leadership team and play a key role in the next phase of the firm's expansion.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Valuer with 5–8 years' post-qualification experience to work on high-profile valuation assignments throughout Ireland while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Valuation & Advisory
Lead and deliver high-quality valuation reports across residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and trade-related property assets.
Provide strategic valuation advice for secured lending, investment, pension, and portfolio purposes.
Professional Consultancy
Advise clients on acquisitions, disposals, feasibility studies, development opportunities, and site appraisals.
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct market research and prepare insightful reports, opinions, and valuation commentary.
Agency & Transaction Support
Assist with sales, lettings, rent reviews, and commercial agency instructions.
Client Relationship Management & Business Development
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Support new business initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the valuation division.
Collaboration
Work closely with teams across Investment, Retail, Business Space, Residential, and Commercial Property Management disciplines.
Special Projects
Contribute to complex, high-value assignments with demanding deadlines while ensuring compliance with all relevant PSRA regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
Registered Valuer status with 5–8 years' post-qualification experience.
MRICS and/or MSCSI qualified.
Current PSRA Licence (essential).
Experience in commercial property valuations, rent reviews, and CPO negotiations.
Blue Book/Red Book Valuer qualification desirable but not essential.
Membership of SCSI, RICS, or IPAV.
Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Full driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
