ABOUT THE JOB
Based in the Head Office in Swords, Co. Dublin, and reporting to the Head of Property, my client is seeking an experienced Facilities and Project Manager to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and long-term growth of the business in Ireland and beyond.

In the FM role, there is substantial work to be done in supply chain management, developing strong relationships, and putting effective contracts in place. Ideally, the candidate will have some basic procurement experience.
The FM will oversee three direct reports: one office-based Facilities Administrator who supports RM and PPM activity, and two field-based Engineers (an Electrician and a General Operative).
The estate consists of 18 retail stores and 18 warehouse locations across Ireland.
The role is varied and includes responsibility for the following areas:
Reactive Maintenance (RM) & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Ensuring all PPM is completed in line with statutory requirements
Developing and maintaining strong contractor relationships through SLA/KPI meetings
Acting as an advisor on complex reactive maintenance issues
Building and maintaining positive internal stakeholder relationships
Leading meetings on unresolved facility issues in a timely and professional manner
Monitoring energy consumption across the property portfolio
Continuously improving and driving efficiencies and sustainability in facilities maintenance
Project Management of Facilities Projects
Assisting in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule
Monitoring and advising on project finances
Tracking project progress, identifying risks or issues, and proposing effective solutions
Managing project information flow between teams and departments through regular meetings and written communication

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge and understanding of statutory obligations
3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a similar industry
Experience in project management
Ability to read and draft plans with strong attention to detail and presentation
Experience with AutoCAD (desirable)
Proven experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, investigations, and delivering corrective/preventative actions
Demonstrated success in project delivery, with strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Full clean driver’s licence and own transport
Ability to work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines
Commercially focused with strong organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
