We are working with a globally recognised property advisory firm that is expanding its Valuation & Advisory business in Dublin and seeking an MRICS-qualified valuation professional with strong commercial and, ideally, hotel/hospitality experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Surveyor specialising in hotel, hospitality and operational real estate to join a market-leading platform and work with institutional investors, private clients, lenders, owners and developers across the Irish market.
The role is open to strong post-APC professionals through to experienced Associate Director / Divisional Director-level candidates, with scope to increase client exposure, leadership responsibility and business development activity.
The Opportunity
You will undertake and advise on valuations across hotels, hospitality, operational real estate and wider commercial property, including:
Complex valuations and advisory assignments across hotel and commercial assets
Valuation reports in accordance with RICS / RED BOOK standards
Market research, inspections, comparable evidence and financial analysis
Income, DCF, investment and development valuation methodologies
Valuations for financial reporting, lending, acquisitions, disposals, investment, taxation and strategic advisory
Advice to investors, lenders, owners, developers and operators
Rent reviews, lease advisory and related valuation work
Management of significant instructions and client relationships
Identification of market trends, risks, opportunities and value drivers
Business development and winning new instructions
Mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to best practice
At senior level, you will also have the opportunity to take a visible leadership role, develop key client relationships and contribute to the growth of the business.
What We're Looking For
MRICS qualification – essential
RICS Registered Valuer status or eligibility
Strong commercial property valuation experience
Ideally, specialist experience in hotels, hospitality or operational real estate
Strong understanding of RICS Valuation – Global Standards (RED BOOK)
Experience with income capitalisation, DCF, comparable evidence and development appraisal
Strong financial and analytical skills, including understanding of EBITDA, trading performance and forecasts
Excellent report-writing and communication skills
Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities
Ability to manage multiple instructions and deadlines
For senior candidates, experience in team leadership, business development and winning instructions is highly advantageous
Experience with Argus Valuation Capitalisation and Developer Valuation would be beneficial.
