Accounts Assistant - Global Property Firm 38k - 42k doe - 1 day hybrid

The successful candidate will receive full onboarding and training to ensure they are fully supported in the role. However, candidates should have some previous experience working in an accounts environment, ideally within commercial property management, and have a genuine interest in developing their knowledge and career within the sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant who is keen to learn, can work well as part of a team, and is comfortable working to deadlines. Experience with property management accounting systems, particularly Qube, would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Raise and issue tenant invoices accurately and on time.

  • Process and allocate receipts to tenant accounts.

  • Assist with monitoring outstanding balances and resolving account queries.

  • Post supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding.

  • Prepare and process supplier payments.

  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.

  • Complete bank reconciliations.

  • Process rent funds to clients.

  • Utilise Qube Property Management Software for financial processing and reporting.

  • Support month-end finance processes.

  • Process client work order numbers and purchase orders.

  • Raise invoices upon receipt of approved purchase order numbers.

  • Process timesheet information for client charge-out purposes.

  • Prepare and issue timesheet-based invoices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounts role is essential.

  • Previous experience within commercial property management would be highly desirable.

  • Experience with Qube Property Management Software would be an advantage.

  • Diploma, degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is desirable.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines and adopt a flexible approach.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop within an accounts environment.
