Commercial Property Surveyor - Cork ( Chartered or within 12 months of APC) 45k + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Surveyor (post APC) to join a dynamic, high-performing team in Cork. PSRA licence, Chartered Surveyor (SCSI/RICS) or within 12 months of APC, minimum two years’ experience, strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and full driver’s licence with vehicle

Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging and conducting viewings for properties managed by the client.

  • Preparing marketing materials and data sites, and liaising directly with clients in relation to these.

  • Proactively pursuing leads to secure lettings and sales of commercial property.

  • Preparing high-quality qualitative and quantitative reports as required by clients and the Department Directors, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Ensuring client reports are prepared to agreed specifications and issued within defined timeframes.

  • Working as part of a team to devise and implement leasing strategies for key clients.

  • Responding promptly and effectively to client requirements.

  • Analysing evolving market data and interpreting market trends to inform client advice.

  • Assisting senior team members with instructions and account management.

  • Demonstrating adaptability, enthusiasm, and a commitment to driving business growth.

  • Assuming responsibility for the day-to-day management of designated clients, where appropriate.

  • Managing the transition of clients and properties.

  • Identifying and progressing new business opportunities.

  • Developing industry recognition as a subject matter expert and representing the client at relevant industry conferences, seminars, and institutional events.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) licence.

  • Ideally a Chartered Surveyor (SCSI/RICS), or within 12 months of sitting the APC, with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience.

  • Strong personal drive and determination to progress professionally.

  • Willingness to challenge existing practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Commitment to developing a personal and business profile as a market-leading expert through press, media, and other channels, embracing principles of thought leadership within the wider property market.

  • Excellent verbal communication and high-standard report writing skills.

  • Strong technical competence and numeracy, with a thorough understanding of key factors influencing the commercial property market.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Full, valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
